Mark is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He specializes in urgent care, worker’s compensation cases/occupational medicine, men's health, preventative medicine, and on-site care solutions.  Mark has a passion for preventative, integrative and family medicine, offering safe and effective treatment options for his patients. Mark is skilled at diagnosing physical symptoms and formulating individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages, while staying current with the latest medical knowledge and equipment advancements.

 

Mark is a graduate of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing program and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science for Advanced Practice Family Nurse Practitioner from the Walden University.

 

Mark’s career in the medical field started in the late 80s as an Emergency Medical Technician and a Nationally Registered Paramedic for the Ambulance and Chair Service in Washington, PA. He worked over 10 years at the Washington Hospital and Armstrong Memorial Hospital as an RN and has over 15 years’ experience as a critical care medical transport flight nurse at Stat Medevac and Air Methods Corporation. After earning his APRN in 2020, Mark completed an extensive 1-year urgent care provider fellowship program and worked at Med-Express Urgent Care and EMS Medical Management before starting his own practice, HeartFelt Medical Solutions.

 

Mark is married to his lovely wife of 29 years. He has two teenage boys and a devoted German shepherd named, Riley. Mark enjoys hiking and fishing and spending time with his family.
